We dropped Tamra off at the vet clinic last night because they feel it is best to have the animal come in the night before the spaying surgery so that they are not as stressed when operation time does come. We really miss her already!
Today she will have her operation and will then spend the night at the vet again to keep her under observation to ensure the procedure went well. We made sure she had her favorite blankie with her and plenty of her own food so she feels a little more comfortable. We’ll be able to go pick her up early Friday morning.
Even though it’s a routine procedure, we’re still worried! We hope everything goes well and she’ll be back home with us soon! We look forward to all the bites we will receive when she finds out we posted on her blog…! Also, sorry in advance Tamra that we’ll have visitors when you get home
Tamra’s Loyal Servants
Get well soon, Tamra – the servants need you to keep them in line!
We are purring and praying that all goes well with Tamra’s surgery, and that she has a quick and stress-free recovery. We think we are glad that we are both boy-cats. We only have to be at the vet the morning of our surgery (before the office opens for regular visiting hours) and then we can go home that evening (right at the end of the vet’s visiting hours at 20:00).
Oh Tamra! We know you’ll be just fine. You are such a big girl to be having your special surgery.
We’ll purr lots for you to get home safe and sound soon and send comfort thoughts to your beans.
Good luck little Tamra! Soon you will be back home where you belong.

Although we’re not sure making her spend the night before in a strange place is a way to reduce stress on anyone.
